The Bleeding Heart’s award-winning list has been named as ‘one of the best in the world ’for the past 20 years by the prestigious Wine Spectator, the wine connoisseurs bible. With more than 450 wines from all over the world, including selection from our own vineyard ‘Trinity Hill’ in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, the Bleeding Heart Wine List is regularly expanded and updated.

We host regular winemaker dinners with Chateau owners and winemakers from all over the world showcasing their wines and champagnes. If you would like information about these evenings, held in the magical medieval 12th century Crypt, please sign up for our Magnum Club newsletter here.

In 1993 we planted a vineyard in Hawkes Bay, on the east coast of the North Island, in partnership with top New Zealand Winemaker John Hancock, Situated on the stony soils of the Gimblett Gravels region, new Zealand’s first “appellation”. Trinity Hill is now one of New Zealand’s most acclaimed wineries, winning as many awards for its red wines as for its whites.

Trinity Hill offer three ranges of wines to suit a variety of palates, wallets and menus. All our wines are made to complement food as well as be enjoyed on their own, so just have a wander through our wines and find the ones that suit you.

Choose our super premium Homage wine for any special occasion or for longer term cellaring. Perhaps you’d like to indulge in our Gimblett Gravels range which are top quality wines from grapes grown on the Gimblett Gravels. These wines are ready to drink now but most will improve with careful cellaring. You can also select from our top value Hawkes Bay range which are drinking very well right now.
