Tasting Room
The 8 foot corrugated iron corkscrew at the entrance to The Tasting Room suggests its vinous history . It is the site of the original Bleeding Heart Wine Bar which opened in 1983 to much acclaim - and a house claret from Barton Guestier at 95pence a glass and Champagne Mumm at £3.95 a large flute. It is still a very special space with its wine caves and original grape etchings.
It can be used either for small wine tastings of up to 16 seated when the ancient Kauri wood table is at its most handsome or larger dinners with twin tables seating up to 30 or 50 standing.
It is our most exclusive private room and as such Chef will be delighted to create a Bespoke Menu to match your particular needs.
Seats up to 30 people or 50 standing.
